This activity, carried out in collaboration with the local beekeeper, aims to introduce kids to the extraordinary world of bees. During the workshops, wax is used to help create wonderful objects and the children will receive a detailed educational lesson on the “social” organisation of the bees. This is followed by a tasting of the bees’ main product, honey, which is made available by the beekeeper in small glasses so that different types can be tasted.
In order to meet the children’s needs, there is nutella honey, called Miel nocciol, and a honey that tastes like pistachio, Miel pistacchio, offering an alternative to the normal snack.
